Sunset Over the “Sea of Clouds” near Alishan National Scenic Area in Taiwan

The “Sea of Clouds” near the Alishan National Scenic Area in the mountains above Chiayi, Taiwan was a breathtaking site. You could actually watch the clouds forming, flowing and dissipating as they moved across the tea fields in the valley far below. Overall it had been a very cloudy day, with occasional rain, but just before sunset ” mother nature” decided to put on a show for those of us that had braved the elements and wandered up the path back to the observation point.
