Golden Chedi of Wat Phrathat Doi Saket Temple with Lanna Style Golden Umbrella near Chiang Mai, Thailand

Wat Phrathat Doi Saket is another beautiful Buddhist temple that is easy to see while you are traveling on an adventure around Chiang Mai, Thailand. Even though the temple appears to be new the original structures were built in 1112. It is a beautiful place to photograph and it is a lot quieter than many of the busier temples in the area.  Like other temples in the area, the prominent feature of Wat Doi Saket temple is its golden Chedi.
